Black Tips with Rhinestones

So this was something that I really really really wanted to try for a few months now and just never got around to it until now.  A good friend of mine came over and let me do whatever I wanted with her nails, so I finally got my chance.  These are gel nails with black glitter tips and rhinestone accents embedded into the gel on the ring finger.  The rhinestones didn't turn out quite how I pictured them in my head, but I still really like it.  My only other gripe out this is that the tips I used show through the gel.  Go figure.  Even though I blended them really well, they're still there, bright as day.  I think its time to switch to clear tips... or stop being lazy and use forms.  Also, what you can't see in the picture is that the black tips are actually glitter, with small flecks of purple in it.  Its called Galaxy by Light Elegance.  Anyway, here they are!

So, lesson learned... rhinestones are hard to form into sweet shapes and buy clear tips.  But overall, I really like the nails, and my friend liked them too which is what really matters.  Im just nit-picky, always trying to get things 110% perfect.  Anyway, I hope you all like them!

  1. These are pretty sweet, if I do say so myself :)

  2. This blog is so nice to me. I will keep on coming here again and again. Visit my link as well.. rhinestones

  3. Second, you will want to have a tool to handle your rhinestones. Some people use tweezers, but we recommend that you utilize one of the tools designed for working with rhinestones, like the rhinestone perfect positioner and magical tray. machine cut rhinestones
